PixelForge
PixelForge was actively developing and simultaneously managing multiple projects, each with its own accounting system. This led to less control over expenses related to workers, freelancers, equipment, and other resources, making it challenging to grasp the actual financial situation. The company required a solution to structure expenses and ensure transparent budget control.
Tasks
Our goal was to organize PixelForge’s expenses by implementing structured accounting for each subproject. It was essential to create a tool for detailed tracking of costs for employees and freelancers, as well as to establish expense forecasting to prevent budget overruns.
Process
We developed and implemented an expense accounting system that enabled detailed tracking of costs for each subproject individually. Costs were categorized, making it easier to understand the flow of funds. Additionally, we introduced an expense forecasting system and profitability calculations for Fixed-price projects, allowing for clear visibility into spending and helping to eliminate unnecessary costs.
Results
Selected the Finmap accounting system to collect historical data and control cash flows.
Implemented a plan-versus-actual analysis for projects, tracking planned vs. actual hours and any deviations to better understand profit loss.
Developed a cash flow planning system to control expenses.
Displayed key indicators on interactive dashboards.
Established client debt monitoring and a debt management system.
With these implementations, PixelForge gained effective financial management, structured cost control, and improved budget oversight. The company began distributing resources among subprojects more efficiently, enabling stable development and better planning of future steps.
